GAME NOTES
• Millersville proved their grit despite losing 13-11 to No. 10 Mercyhurst. The Marauders were down seven goals going into the second half but rallied to get within a point of tying the Lakers. A win against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival Kutztown University will be vital as the Marauders creep closer to the conference playoffs.
• Junior
Sabrina Fusco was on fire against the Lakers as she buried seven goals. Fusco leads the team with 29 goals and is second on the team with 11 assists. Fusco leads the Mauraders with 40 total points.. Fusco is the only Marauder that has scored in every single game this season.
• Senior
Renee Landis continues to funnel shot opportunities to her teammates. Landis leads the team with 18 assists while also ranking second on the team with 16 goals.
• Three more Marauders scored double digit goals in the first half of the season. Junior
Callie Kavanaugh is third on the team with 14 goals, senior
Jamie Damirgian ranks fourth on the team with 13 goals, and senior
Taylor Davis ranks fifth with 12 goals.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• The Golden Bears were picked to finished 12th in the PSAC preseason poll. Despite the team's .500 record, they have struggled in conference play losing five of seven conference games.
• Kutztown struggled last week as they dropped one out of conference game while going 1-1 in two straight PSAC games. The Golden Bears most recently won their match against PSAC rival Edinboro University..
• Kutztown sport an above .500 record at home while the Marauders have only picked up one away win in six away games.
• Kutztown has three scorers with 20 or more goals. The Marauder defense will be tested by Sarah Gabriele (31), Makayla Bowman (24), and Lauren Huggins (21). Two more Golden Bears have scored double digit goals.
