THE MATCH-UP
• Millersville football enters week two of the season looking to go 2-0 for the first time since 2003 and a win would be four in a row dating back to the end of the 2015 season. That would be the program's longest win streak since totaling five wins in a row from end of the 2002 season into the start of 2003. Last week's win gave Millersville is first three-game winning streak since 2006.
• Seton Hill won its first season opener since 2010 last week at Bowie State by a 50-48 final. Since 2009, Seton Hill has won no more than two games in a season, but fourth-year coach Isaac Collins has the program on the rise. The Griffins went 0-11 the season before he arrived and 1-10 in year one. The Griffins have gone 3-8 in each of the last two seasons but the 2015 season include a win over eventual PSAC champ Slippery Rock and one score losses to powerhouses Bloomsburg and California (Pa.).
• Seton Hill joined the PSAC in 2013 and Saturday marks the first-ever meeting between the Griffins and Marauders. The PSAC instituted three divisional crossover games for each team in 2008, and since then, Millersville is 4-20 against PSAC West foes. Seton Hill is 4-4 against the PSAC East with two wins over both Lock Haven and Cheyney.

THE LAST TIME OUT
• Millersville scored a 28-7 win over Pace in the opener, using two defensive touchdowns from freshman Jaleel Robinson and two touchdown passes from J.J. Paige. Millersville outgained Pace 367-263 in yards. The defense held Pace without a score until the 2:58 mark of the fourth quarter.
• Seton Hill's 50-point outburst in the opener marked the second-most points scored in program history. Seton Hill scored more points in week one than any other team in the PSAC. Quarterback Christian Strong threw for a school record five touchdowns. His 447 yards passing were the most of any quarterback in the PSAC during the opening week. Wide receivers Ardell Brown and Malik Scott combined for 282 yards receiving. Four different players caught at least one touchdown pass.

SCOUTING BY THE NUMBERS
• Millersville's defense limited Pace to just 263 yards of offense and seven points. The Marauders concluded 2015 ranked fifth in the PSAC in total defense and second in passing defense. That trend is continuing in 2016 as the Marauders rank first in the league in pass defense efficiency, first in scoring in defense and fourth in total defense.
• While the Marauders allowed a 40.9 completion percentage and intercepted two passes against Pace, Seton Hill's passing attack leads the PSAC after 447 yards in the opener. Seton Hill QB Christian Strong threw three interceptions in week one, and Millersville's defense has picked off six passes in the last three games and seven in the last four games.
• Seton Hill piled up the passing numbers but rushed totaled just 61 rushing yards on 38 carries. That total includes 33 yards in losses. Jarvis McClam was the top rusher with 51 yards on 18 carries and a long of 11. Among PSAC teams, only Mercyhurst rushed for fewer yards in the opening week.
• Millersville will likely try to play keep-away from the Seton Hill offense. In week one, the Marauders' offense possessed the ball for nearly 40 minutes of the 60 minute game. The Marauders rushed for 120 yards, and the 363 yards of total offense was the second-highest total over the team's last 13 games. The Marauders have totaled 764 yards in their last two games dating back to 2015.
• Seton Hill's defense gave up 48 points, tying with Mercyhurst for the most allowed by a PSAC team last week. It allowed just 2.7 yards per carry and 96 total rushing yards but allowed 427 passing yards and five touchdowns.

RISING DEFENSE
• During Millersville's three-game winning streak, the Marauder defense has surrendered just 34 points (11.3 per game) and 234 yards per game while picking off six passes. Five of the last six opponents have been held to fewer than 364 yards of offense. Millersville's 4 1/2 tackles for loss in the opener, giving the unit 17 1/2 over the last three games.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
• Jaleel Robinson made quite an impact in his first collegiate game. He intercepted two passes, both of which he returned for touchdowns and was subsequently named PSAC East Defensive Player of the Week. Robinson is the third Marauder to win the award since the start of the 2015 season. Rob Varner, then a redshirt freshman, won the award after the 2015 season opener. Robinson totaled four tackles and a tackle for loss. Robinson was the lone PSAC player to intercept two passes and he scored as many defensive touchdowns as any other player scored offensive touchdowns. Robinson's two-pick game was Millersville's first since 2012, and he made the team's first INT return for touchdown since 2012.

EXPERIENCE ON DEFENSE
• Millersville's defense returns eight starters from 2015, and the group of P.J. Santos, Alpha Kahn, Logan Kinser, Drew Seaburg, Morgan Faughnan, Rob Varner and Sean Dugan have combined for 121 starts. Santos is a fourth-year starter and has totaled 28 starts. Santos picked off three passes last season and has seven in his career.Seaburg leads the team with 23 consecutive starts.

PAIGE MAKING PLAYS
• J.J. Paige opened 2016 by matching a career-high with 24 completions. He tossed two touchdown passes without throwing an interception, giving him eight touchdowns and no interceptions thrown in his last three games--a total of 97 attempts. Over his last seven games, Paige has tossed 12 touchdowns to 2 interceptions.
• Paige concluded 2015 with the third-highest completion percentage in the PSAC (60.2) and connected on 66.7 percent of his passes against Pace. That percentage ranked second among PSAC passers that week. His career completion percentage of 58 percent puts him well within striking distance of the program record of 61.6 percent, which is held by Dan Csencitz (2002-05).

WIGGINS' PRODUCTION
• Kevin Wiggins, now a junior, has caught at least two passes in all 10 games he played last season and in 22 consecutive dating back to the start of his freshman season. With 96 career grabs, Wiggins was the second-fastest to 80 catches in program history, trailing only hall of famer Sean Scott, who totaled 108 grabs, 1,503 yards and 17 touchdowns in his first two seasons. Wiggins trails former All-America wide receiver Dondre Gilliam by just 11 catches for 10th place on Millersville's all-time list, and trails Millersville hall of fame tight end Roger Smith by 12 for ninth place.
• Wiggins totaled eight catches and 101 yards in the opener against Pace, marking his second career 100-yard game. He also caught a touchdown pass, giving him 13 in 22 career games. He is one TD catch shy of Bill Burke and Roger Smith for ninth place on the career list. Wiggins has nine touchdown catches in his last five games.
• Wiggins tied for 11th in the PSAC in touchdowns and 20th in catches in 2015.
• Wiggins was voted the team's offensive MVP in 2015.
• Since 2001, only three wide receivers have caught 40 or more passes in two consecutive seasons. Wiggins joined Jamal Smith (2009-10) and Andy Neupauer (2003-04).

TIGHT END TARGET
• Tight end Tyler Zilen started his junior season with five catches and a touchdown against Pace. Those five catches matched a career-high, which he also totaled against Bloomsburg in 2015. Five catches were the most by a Marauder tight end in a single game in more than 15 years. Zilen caught 14 passes in 2015, which marked the most catches by a Marauder tight end since Greg Frantz totaled 14 in 2009. Prior to that, the most by a Marauder tight end was Chris Hemmert's 26 in 1998. His touchdown catch against Pace was the third of his career, giving him one in each of his first three seasons.

MULTI-PURPOSE OVERTON
• After leading the team in rushing yards, yards per carry, kickoff returns, kick return yardage and punt returns in 2015, Overton picked up right where he left off.  The sophomore running back rushed 16 times for a team-high 57 yards and also caught four passes for 36 yards. He was also the team's punt returner but did not record a return.

BIG BOOT
• Evan Stahl is in his fourth season as the Marauders' punter and kicker. His punting was outstanding in the 2016 opener, averaging 49.3 yards on six punts. He hit two for over 50 yards with a long of 63 and landed two inside the 20-yard line. His 63-yarder was the second-longest of his career and his best since a 69-yard punt in 2013. Only Seton Hill's William Hodge posted a better average in week one.
