Erie, Pennsylvania - Millersville women's volleyball finished its weekend trip to Erie with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-21) loss at the hands of Mercyhurst Saturday.
The loss extended Millersville's (2-9, 0-2 PSAC) skid to eight matches--its longest since 2003. Millersville totaled 29 kills to 17 errors and committed eight services errors to just three service aces. Mercyhurst, meanwhile totaled 40 kills to 14 errors.
Millersville scored the first point of all three sets but never led later than 6-5 in any of the three.
Erin Harman led the Marauders wight eight kills and 18 digs.
Grace Dawson totaled 22 assists. Millersville hit just .105 as a team.
After opening the season with 11 consecutive road matches, the Marauders finally make their Pucillo Gymnasium debut on Friday against Edinboro. Start time is 7 p.m.
