GAME NOTES
• After a valiant effort against IUP fell just short Saturday, the Marauders stand 4-3 (1-2 PSAC) coming into the matchup with 3-2 (1-1 PSAC) Bloomsburg.
Taylor Davis had a big performance against the Crimson Hawks, scoring four times on five shot attempts.
Sabrina Fusco and
Bridget Hufnagel, who rank first and second on the team in total goals scored with 24 and 20 respectively, both had three goals in the loss.
• Hufnagel, who leads the Marauders with 11 assists on the season, added two more against IUP.
Renee Landis handed out two assists in the loss as well and scored a pair of goals versus the Crimson Hawks.
• Freshman
Bryana Weston-Wyatt recorded five saves against IUP and has 50 saves so far on the season.
• Tipping the scales in Millersville's favor, the Huskies have been outshot and outscored as a team this season while the Marauders have outscored their opponents by nearly two goals a game.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT• The Huskies enter Wednesday's matchup coming off an 11-9 win at Edinboro Saturday. Bloomsburg's scoring attack is powered by the sophomore-junior duo of Taylor Turner and Brigid Kyne who each had 12 goals so far this season.
• Bloomsburg has started two players in net so far this year, with Abbey Burnett going 2-2 and Brittney Hegarty going 1-0.
• Millersville has not defeated Bloomsburg since the 2001 squad downed the Huskies, 13-8.
• Last year, Bloomsburg was led by Brigid Kyne who netted six goals in the Huskies 15-8 victory over the Marauders.
