Lock Haven, Pennsylvania - The Millersville University women's volleyball team closed its 2016 season with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 28-26) road sweep of Lock Haven Saturday.
The Marauders (10-19, 6-12 PSAC) received 13 kills and 12 digs from junior
Erin Harman while holding Lock Haven to a -.055 hitting percentage--the lowest by a Millersville opponent all season. Harman's 26th match with double-digit kills this season pushed her career total to 1,000. She is just the ninth player in program history to reach the milestone.
Renee Drawbaugh record a team-high three service aces. Freshman
Haley Butler totaled nine kills with no errors.
Grace Dawson assisted on 28 of the team's 36 kills.
The win marked Millersville's first-ever season sweep of Lock Haven since 1995.
Harman closed her junior season with 383 kills--the fourth-highest single-season total in program history. Dawson's 926 assists rank seventh all-time. Dawson is now one of just two players in program history with two of the top-10 single season totals.
With no seniors, Millersville expects to return every player on the roster in 2017.
