Millersville, Pennsylvania -Â Stacie Hallinan scored two goals to propel Millersville to a 2-0 victory over Shippensburg Tuesday.
Sydnie Parker recorded both assists and
Samantha Wolfe racked up 10 saves to lift the Marauders to their third consecutive victory.
The Raiders threatened early, earning back-to-back corner kicks in the seventh minute. On the second corner, the ball popped out to Paige Harris, and Harris rang one off the top of the crossbar. Minutes later, Wolfe swatted away a corner by Shippensburg and saved a Casey Rightmyer shot.
After earning a free kick,
Kaylie Cutlip one-timed a shot that was saved by Leah Roy. Millersville had a chance with five minutes to play as
Abigail Eisenhart played the ball to
Samantha Ricciardi at the top of the box and Ricciardi pushed it just wide of the net and the game remained scoreless at the break.Â
Shippensburg came out firing in the second half as Harris dribbled up the left side and swung in two crosses that just trickled wide of the goal line. Minutes later,
Samantha Wolfe was pulled off her line and
Bailey Kramer blocked a Raider shot that was on frame.Â
In the 74th minute, Tori Mills got behind the defense but Wolfe charged out to make a diving save. On the rebound, Harris fired it on target but Cutlip was there to clear the ball.
In the 82nd minute,
