"LAX-4-LIFE" OVERVIEW
• The Millersville women's lacrosse team returns to the friendly confines of Chyrst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium as it hosts West Chester in the team's annual "Lax-4-Life" game.

• "Lax-4-Life" is a national lacrosse campaign that provides support and raises awareness towards adolescent and young adult suicide prevention. The organization was founded in 2008 after Allyson Green, sister of former West Chester goalkeeper Mary Beth Green, committed suicide. Every year in the last week of March or first week of April lacrosse teams in the region host "Lax-4-Life" games to support the organization

• The awareness game began with 10 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) institutions in participation in 2009, and  has grown to the involvement of 63 institutions across Division I, II and III. "Lax-4-Life" also takes place at high school games in certain places in New York, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. The Millersville women's lacrosse team will have a table setup at Chryst Field with more information and where donations can be made towards "Lax-4-Life."
