GAME OVERVIEW
• Millersville was trailing Kutztown by one point with under four minutes to play but saw the Golden Bears score six straight points and come away with a 68-63 win. That loss was a hit to Millersville's hopes of home court advantage in the first round of the PSAC Tournament. The Marauders are now still trail Shippensburg by a half game for the coveted No. 4 seed. Millersville can still make up ground with four games left on the schedule. Three of Millersville's final four opponents have sub-.500 records and all four having sub-.500 records in PSAC play.

• Cheyney's Kevin Larkin ranks third in the PSAC in scoring and ranks sixth in shooting percentage, but the Marauders limited him to 15 points on 6-of-16 shooting in the first meeting this season. Millersville has made a habit of shutting down some of the best offensive players in the league. The Marauders held ESU's Whis Grant to 3-of-11 shooting, Mansfield's Joe Bell to 1-of-9 shooting, Lock Haven's Wali Hepburn to 5-of-18 shooting and Gannon's Adam Blazek to 4-of-16 shooting. Each of those players rank in the top 20 in the PSAC in scoring. Bell, Larkin and Hepburn rank in the top 15 in field goal percentage.

• Since Dec. 20, Millersville is 8-5 and 10 of those games have been decided by fewer than 10 points. Each of the last four games have been decided by single digits. Millersville has a knack for playing well in close games, posting an 8-4 record in games decided by 10 ponts or less and a 5-3 record in games decided by five points or fewer. The Marauders are also 4-0 in overtime games. Millersville's last two wins have come by a total of seven points and its last two losses have come by a total of 12 points.

Sam Light scored a career-high 20 points in the first meeting against Cheyney. From Dec. 17-Jan. 19, Light scored in double figures in eight of nine games. Since he scored 20 points against Wilmington on Jan. 29, Light has averaged just 8.2 points per game over the last five. He's shot 20.9 percent (9-for-43) in that five-game stretch and was held scoreless in 11 minutes against East Stroudsburg. That was the first time he had failed to score in a game. Light's 86.1 free throw percentage ranks sixth in the league. He ranks eighth in total attempts.

• Millersville has won seven of the last eight games over Cheyney but the games have hardly been lopsided. The last four games have been decided by an average of 3.3 points per game. Eight of the last 10 games have been decided by 10 points or fewer. Millersville has also won four in a row in Cope Hall starting in 2011.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• Cheyney has had its problems stopping teams at the defensive end. The Wolves rank 18th in the PSAC in scoring defense (81.9). The Wolves also rank last in the league in scoring margin (-11.6). Opponents are shooting 49.4 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from 3-point range, which ranks 17th out of 18 teams. Kevin Larkin ranks third in the PSAC in scoring at 18.0 points per game. He is an efficient scorer with a shooting percentage of 48.5 percent, which ranks sixth in the league. His 41.5 percent 3-point shooting percentage ranks sixth in the league.
