Philadelphia Pa. – The Millersville men's soccer team dropped its second straight game after it lost 3-1 in a non-conference matchup with Holy Family Monday afternoon. Millersville dropped to 2-6-1 overall this season.

The Marauders and Tigers each attempted 12 shots, with both teams putting six on goal. The difference was the play of Holy Family goalkeeper Richard Ongaro who was able to make five saves compared to the combined effort of David Brubaker and Kohl Orner who were only able to record three stops.

Holy Family struck first early into the opening period giving the Tigers the 1-0 lead. Freshman midfielder Mariano Capeda was on the receiving end of a cross from sophomore Christopher Tracey, which Cepeda tapped into the back of the net beating goalkeeper David Brubaker. Millersville equalized in the 34^th minute when Christopher Sosa dribbled past a Tiger defender allowing a clear shot attempt on net which Sosa converted.

The game-tying effort marked the second straight contest in which the sophomore midfielder scored and he now has two goals on the season. The game didn't stay tied for long as Christopher Tracey of Holy Family headed a shot attempt inside the corner off the left post putting the Tigers up, 2-1. The score remained the same through halftime and it wasn't until the 59^th minute when the Tigers added the final tally.

Millersville returns to action Friday, Oct. 3 when it squares off against Gannon at Pucillo Field. Kickoff is slated for 5:30 p.m.
