Mansfield Pa. - The Millersville women's soccer team routed Mansfield 3-1 Saturday afternoon at Karl Van Norman Field. Midfielders
Kelsey Mattola,
Logan Neiman, and
Halie Parker each netted a goal for the Marauders, improving to a 3-2 record both overall and in the PSAC.
Millersville was able to strike first as

Olivia Webber. The score remained 1-1 into the half-time break. Mansfield played a better statistical first half than Millersville, outshooting the Marauders, 8-5. The Mountaineers were also able to get four corner kicks compared to the one Millersville attempted.

Logan Neiman shot the ball from 16 yards out that was just out of the reach of the outstretched arms of Alana Greenawalt.
Millersville added an insurance goal eight minutes later when
Kelsey Mattola netted her ninth career goal that sealed the Marauder victory.
The Marauders stay on the road for their next match. They travel to Clarion to battle the 2-4 Golden Eagles. Kick-off is scheduled for Wednesday Sept. 24 at 6 p.m.
