Millersville Pa. - The women's soccer team scored the game winning goal just two minutes into the first half Monday afternoon. Playing in front of the home crowd at Pucillo Field, Millersville was able to earn the decisive 1-0 victory over Edinboro improving to 2-2-0 overall and in the PSAC.
The Marauders were able to net the game winning goal at the 2:23 mark, when
Megan Kelley crossed a beautiful pass into the box to the waiting foot of
Halie Parker who finished off the play. The goal was Parker's second goal of the 2014 season.

Olivia Webber played stout defense turning away numerous Edinboro shots while keeping the narrow 1-0 lead in tact. For the game Webber made 12 saves which earned the redshirt junior her 11th career shutout.
Edinboro held a 17-13 shot advantage over the Marauders, but were never able to crack the Millersville defense.
The Marauders will next be in action this Saturday at 3 p.m. when they travel to Mansfield to battle the Mountaineers in a key PSAC East matchup.
