Philadelphia, Pa. -Â The Millersville men's soccer team faced its first test on the road when it traveled to Philadelphia University Wednesday afternoon. The Marauders were able to go up 1-0 early, but the Rams scored four unanswered resulting in the 4-1 loss.

Millersville (1-2) totaled nine shots in the game, while putting three of them on net. The lone goal was scored at the 29:57 mark when sophomore defender
Devin Rediker was able to bend a ball past Ram goalie Neil Kwiatowski. The Marauders lead stood until the closing minutes of the first half when Philadelphia was able to get two consecutive goals from forward Patrick Groh.

The score remained 2-1 until the 74th minute when Ryan Schroy capitalized on a rebound that was placed in front of net. Ram midfielder Dominic Rodriguez added the final goal in the 82nd minute when he slid a ball past Marauder keeper
David Brubaker.

The Marauders remain on the road when they travel to 0-3 Davis & Elkins Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 2:30 p.m.Â
