Millersville, Pa. - The Millersville women's soccer team scored its largest margin of victory since a 2007 in a 7-0 win over Lincoln on Monday. Millersville received two goals from
Logan Neiman and
Victoria Kramer, and
Kelsey Mattola,
Kristin Lepley, and
Kady Yoders each added a tally of their own in the second half of the contest.

The 7-0 non-conference victory improves Millersville to 8-6-1 overall. The Black & Gold dominated in the shot department as they fired 23 shots compared to the Lions' nine. Lincoln (5-7-1) goalkeeper Cristian Harris was able to record 11 saves in the blowout loss.

Millersville got off to a fast start as it netted the first goal in the fifth minute. Freshman midfielder Logan Nieman was able to outpace the Lion defenders and created space allowing her to strike a laser into the back of the net.

Nearly 10 minutes later, Nieman put the Marauders up 2-0 with her third goal of the season.
Kelsey Mattola was credited with the assist on the play. At the 19:02 mark, it was Mattola who added a goal of her own on a beautiful combination play between herself and
Hannah Willett adding to the Millersville lead.

Just over a minute later, sophomore
Victoria Kramer got involved in the scoring party when she netted her first of two goals at the 20:43 mark. The assist was credited to
Halie Parker who continues to lead the Marauders in points with 13. The first half ended with Millersville up 4-0.

The huge lead allowed the Marauders a chance to rest starting goalkeeper
Olivia Webber who finished the contest with two saves. Both Webber and her replacement
Samantha Wolfe combined for the shutout.

Kramer added her second goal three minutes into the second half, which was followed by a goal from
Kristin Lepley who scored just over a minute later and
Kady Yoders gave the Marauders a 7-0 advantage in the 64th minute.Â

The Marauders remain on the road for the final two games of regular season play. Millersville currently sits in the eighth and final PSAC Tournament position. Coach
Mike O'Brien's squad will next travel to Greensburg to battle Seton Hill on Halloween afternoon. Kick-off for the pivotal PSAC affair is scheduled for 1 p.m.
