Box Score Lock Haven, Pa. - The Lock Haven Bald Eagles avenged last year's 12-10 loss to the Millersville women's lacrosse team by defeating the Marauders 15-4 on Tuesday afternoon.

Lock Haven (6-1, 3-0 PSAC) remains undefeated in conference play with the victory and has now won three straight games. Kelly Hamilton led the Bald Eagles with four goals and attacker Chelsea Borrino tallied seven points (two goals and five assists) in the victory.
Henderson scored the game's first goal at the 1:15 mark in the first half. Vogel dished a pass to Henderson and the midfielder fired a rocket past Lock Haven's keeper to give the visitor's an early 1-0 advantage.
Lock Haven answered with four straight goals. Hamilton scored two in a row and Borrino assisted on two of the scores to turn the tides to 4-1 in favor of the Bald Eagles.
Vogel scored in the 12th minute of the game on an unassisted goal. Unfortunately for the Marauders, that began a period of 45:23 that they were held without placing the ball into the back of the cage. From the 18:57 mark in the first half to just under four minutes remaining in the game the Lock Haven defense was able to keep the Marauders from scoring. It is the longest period of time that Millersville has been held scoreless this season.
During that stretch, the Bald Eagles scored 10 goals and increased their lead to 12. Henderson and Fisher each scored in the final four minutes, but the game was already out of reach and Lock Haven finished with the 15-4 win.
The four goals that the Marauders scored were the fewest in a game for the team this season and their eight shots on goal was less than half of the teams average of 19.5 shots on goal per game this season.
Millersville looks to snap the three game losing streak when the play at home on Friday against Slippery Rock. The game against the Rock is the first of five straight home games for the Black and Gold. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
