
No. 12 Kutztown Takes Down Marauders

Millersville, Pa. - No. 12 Kutztown won eight of 10 bouts and handed the Millersville wrestling team a 30-9 defeat Wednesday evening in Pucillo Gymnasium.
125-pound Sam Oberlander and 184-pound Daniel Cox were the lone winners for the Marauders (2-9, 0-5 PSAC). Oberlander scored a pin over Nick Lamoreaux at the 4:19 mark, and Cox picked up a 7-5 decision over Matt Cosgrove.
Kutztown improved its record to 10-4 overall and 2-1 in the PSAC. The 285-pound match featured a pair of regionally ranked wrestlers in No. 1 Ziad Haddad and No. 4 Brad Ladd. Haddad scored early with takedowns and eventually pulled away for an 18-5 major decision, solidifying his ranking.
Millersville travels to Lycoming on Saturday for a dual starting at 12 p.m.
