
Marauder Wrestlers Compete at PSAC Championships

Edinboro, Pa. - The Millersville wrestling team finished 12th in Saturday's PSAC Championships hosted by Edinboro.
The Marauders were led by David Charles, who earned three wins at 141 pounds. Nick Mancini also picked up a win at 174 pounds.
Charles started his day with an 11-1 major decision over East Stroudsburg's Joseph Hoy. He was then narrowly edged by second-seeded Dave Cawley of Pitt-Johnstown. In the wrestleback bracket, Charles advanced with a win by default over Gannon's Rocco Wellek. Charles then upset Kutztown's Mitch Voelker by a 3-2 score before falling to No. 4-seed Dylan Durso of Mercyhurst, 6-0.
Mancini dropped his opening round match, and scored a fall (2:11) over Gannon's Christopher Matthews.
Millersville is idle until the Franklin & Marshall Open on Jan. 4.
