Edinboro, Pa. - The Millersville women's swimming team began its dual schedule on Friday night and fell to Edinboro and Gannon by scores of 98-15 and 94-19, respectively.

Millersville finished the meet with four total top five results. Senior Amanda Thomas grabbed the Marauders best finish of the night, taking second place in the 50-yard butterfly with a time of 28.92.

Sophomore Grace Magerr, the school record holder in the 1,00-yard freestle, picked up the Black and Gold's only other top-three finish with her result in the 500-yard freestyle. Magerr swam the event seven seconds faster than her previous season best time and finished in 5:28.32.

Freshman Bree Link was the only other individual top-five finisher. Link placed fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:13.26.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Brigid Kavanaugh, Rachel Malampy, Marina Barrineau, and Thomas took home a third place finish with a time of 1:44.17.
