Marauders Wrap Up Highlander with Several Season Bests

Final Results
Radford, Va. – For the second time in as many days, sophomore standout Sarah Bernhardt landed an NCAA "B" time and a conference qualifying time. It was in the 100-yard freestyle Saturday as she clocked in at 52.88 seconds. With that time, Bernhardt broke her own school record in the event by .76 seconds and led the Marauders to a seventh-place finish with 277 points.
Amie Mowery swam a season-best time of 3:35.91 in the preliminary round of the 200-yard breaststroke. She went on to finish seventh in the event with a final time of 2:36.10. Courtney Wallace finished 15th with a time of 2:42.30.
Claiming two top-10 finishes on the day, Arielle Walbert finished eighth in the 200 backstroke and 11th in the 1,650 freestyle. Walbert touched the wall in 2:14.75 in the backstroke and finished the free in a season-best time of 19:06.36. Amy Leiphart claimed 17th in the freestyle, touching the wall in 19:58.96.
The 400-yard freestyle relay of Mowery, Rececca Anderson, Breann Martinez and Bernhardt finished ninth with a team season-best time of 3:44.69.
Millersville returns to action on Dec. 3 when the Marauders travel to Swarthmore for the two-day Swarthmore Invitational.
