Heptathlon Results
Millersville, Pa. - Action from the 2009 Millersville Metrics began Thursday afternoon at Chryst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium with the men's decathlon and women's heptathlon. Several Marauders were in good standing after the day of events.
In the heptathlon, Millersville's Jess Rhyner totaled 2,170 points through four events which placed her second behind Shippensburg's Tina Grussenmeyer. Stacey Bernetski compete in just one event, and the Marauders' top multi athlete Michele Frayne did not compete in any of Thursday's events.
Millersville's Zac Kohler was MIllersville's top performer through five decathlon events. His 3,005 points placed him fourth. Rutgers' Mike Baird was in first with 3,353 points.
Jack Scanlin's total of 2,786 points placed him fifth behind Kohler, and Matt Rogers was in seventh with 2,709.
The Millersville Metrics continues Friday. Events begin at 10 a.m.
