Box Score

Greensburg, Pa. - Liz Weekley scored five goals and Brittany Long scored four as the Millersville women's lacrosse team routed Seton Hill 17-2 Sunday afternoon.

Weekley's first goal of the game was the 100th of her career. The junior, who now has 23 on the season and 104 for her career, became just the ninth player in school history to reach the 100-goal milestone. She also passed Marlo Magliocchetti '89 for eighth place on the all-time scoring list.

Along with her five goals, Weekley assisted on three others. Long's four goals were a career high, and Katie DiRico added three goals, giving her four three-goal games this season.

It took Millersville nearly four minutes to score its first goal and it was 10 minutes in before the Marauders took a 2-0 advantage. The Marauders led 5-1 at the break, but Weekley's goal 52 seconds into the second period opened the flood gates and Millersville totaled 12 goals in the second half on 23 shots.

Millersville fired 41 shots to Seton Hill's 12.

Millersville boosted its record to 4-3 with the win, and travel to PSAC East rival Shippensburg on Tuesday.
