
Hostetter's 20-Match Win Streak Snapped at NCAA Wrestling Tourney

March 20 – Jarrett Hostetter (jr. Oxford , Pa. /Oxford HS) lost his first-round match at the NCAA Division I Wrestling Tournament in St. Louis on Thursday, snapping his 20-match win streak.
The East Region champ at 157-pounds dropped a 2-0 decision to Newly McSpadden of Oklahoma State. Hosttetter, who also received a bye in the first-round of the wrestleback bracket, is now 34-7 on the year.
He will face an opponent yet to be determined in round two of consolation on Friday morning and could place as high as third if he wins six consecutive matches.
