Among the most decorated track and field athletes in Millersville history, Amanda Myers joined the coaching staff as a volunteer assistant prior to the 2018-19 season.
Myers was a four-time NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships qualifier in the javelin, setting a school record of 157-10 at the 2016 event and earning All-America honors three times.
In 2018, Myers was the PSAC Outdoor Championships runner-up in both the hammer and the javelin. She was the 2015 PSAC Outdoor Freshman of the Year, a four-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and four-time USTFCCCA All-Academic recipient.
At the conclusion of her career, Myers was recognized with the Millersville Athletics Career Achievement Award at the Dining with Champions event.
