Quarterback Ted Stachitas sparked Millersville to a 41-17 drubbing of W.Va. Wesleyan in Saturday's season opener. Playing in his first game as a Marauder, Stachitas totaled 286 yards of offense and two touchdowns, throwing for 166 and rushing for 120. He had runs of 53 and 40 that both set up Millersville touchdowns. It was the most rushing yards by a Marauder quarterback since 2007, and Millersville's first season-opening win at home since 2003. Stachitas' 120 rushing yards were a game-high.
