Peg Kauffman

A 1987 graduate of Millersville University, Peg Kauffman returned to her alma mater as the director of athletics in 2007. Kauffman now serves as the associate director of athletics for event management. 

Kauffman is presently the department's senior women's administrator and coordinator of Title IX equity. She serves as the sport administrator for field hockey, men's and women's golf, men's soccer and softball while also working as the PSAC Women's Golf Championships liason. 

During her time at Millersville, Kauffman oversaw the department's move to Jefferson Hall (the university's first all-athletics building), numerous facility renovations and the addition of women's golf as an intercollegiate athletic program. 

Kauffman has served as the tournament director for 2013 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship as well as NCAA regional tournaments for men's golf, men's soccer and baseball. 

Prior to coming to Millersville, Kauffman coached women's basketball for 12 seasons at Lebanon Valley College where she guided the Dutchmen to a 183-117 record. She was also honored as the Commonwealth Conference and Women's Basketball Coaches Association Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year.

Kauffman served as the assistant director of athletics at Lebanon Valley starting in 2001. During her tenure she assisted in the coordination of NCAA compliance for LVC's 21 athletic teams and was also the senior women's administrator. 

Kauffman is a member of both the Millersville University and Lancaster Catholic Athletics halls of fame. As a Marauder, she was an All-American guard and three-time All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East selection. During her playing career, she scored 1,398 points and dished out 408 assists while leading the Marauders to two PSAC Division II championships.

In addition to receiving a bachelor's of arts degree in psychology from Millersville, Kauffman also earned a master's degree in education in 1992.
