Tyler Jenkins, a former graduate assistant in the Millersville athletics department, returned in 2026 as the assistant director of athletics for operations.
Jenkins earned a master's degree in athletic administration from Millersville in 2025 following two years working closely with longtime Millersville administrator Peg Kauffman. In his role as a graduate assistant, Jenkins served as a game day manager for on-campus events and acted as tournament director for numerous PSAC and NCAA postseason competitions. Jenkins assisted with scheduling and facility up-keep. He was named the Graduate Student Leader of the Year in 2025.
Jenkins spent the 2025-26 academic year at PennWest Clarion working as the events and facilities coordinator. He faciliated and managed all athletic operations, practices and camps hosted on campus, coordinated facility maintenance, oversaw a student staff and worked with corporate partners.
Jenkins also gained experience in athletic facility and event management at Lehigh University from 2022-23. He experienced the coaching side as well, serving as an assistant football coach at Nativity BVM High School from 2018-25.
A York College graduate, Jenkins earned a bachelor's degree in sport management and athletic coaching in 2022.
