Following her graduation from Millersville University in 2018, Erin Harman was named the volleyball program's assistant coach. Harman turned in an exemplary four-year career as a two-sport student-athlete. In addition to coaching with the volleyball team in 2018, Harman served as the swimming program's interim head coach in 2018-19.Â
On the sidelines with the volleyball program, Harman has helped the team to two of the most successful seasons in program history. In 2018, the Marauders won the PSAC East, and in 2019, they won a school-record 26 matches and reached the NCAA Tournament for the second time in program history.Â
As a Marauder, Harman was an All-PSACÂ honoree in both volleyball and track and field. She was named All-PSACÂ Second Team on the court as a senior and was a two-time All-PSACÂ performer in the indoor pole vault as a track and field athlete. Harman was also the 2015 PSAC Indoor Freshman of the Year.Â
She set school records in both the indoor and outdoor pole vault, and with the volleyball team, Harman became one of just three players in program history to total over 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs. Harman posted three consecutive seasons with 300 or more kills and ranked sixth in the PSAC in kills as a senior and second in the league as a junior.Â
Also a standout in the classroom, Harman was a four-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete, a CoSIDAÂ Academic All-District 2 selection as a volleyball player in 2017, and the winner of Millersville's 2018 Scholar-Athlete Award, which was presented at the Dining with Champions banquet. Harman was also a two-time USTFCCCA All-Academic selection as a track athlete.Â
