Jack Gamaldi finished his ninth season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Millersville softball team in 2012. All told, that now gives Gamaldi 19 seasons of coaching softball. He spent five seasons as an assistant coach for the Harrisburg Her-icanes in the Harrisburg-based Women's Softball League. In addition to his duties with the Her-icanes, Gamaldi served as an assistant coach for two other teams in the league. The long-time assistant coach also spent several years in the same position with the PA Shockers.
