Anna Gimmestad joined the Millersville coaching staff prior to the start of the 2020 season following a playing career at Bucknell University.
Originally from Minnesota, Gimmestad graduated from Bucknell in 2019 where she played infield. During her senior year she recorded 55 hits including 10 doubles, three triples and seven homeruns. She ranks seventh in program history for career doubles with 36 and seventh for runs scored with 90.
Gimmestad was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week in April of 2016, Patriot League Player of the Week in March 2019 and All-Patriot League First Team in 2019. She also made the Patriot League academic honor roll in 2019.
