Elijah Obade, one of the all-time greats in Millersville basketball, returned to coach at Millersville in 2015-16.

After graduation from Millersville in 2013, Obade pursued a professional basketball career, playing portions of two seasons oversees in Slovakia, New Zealand and Spain with Levicki Patrioti, Wellington Saints, Araberri, Rasta Vechta and Bashkimi. Obade's most productive season occured playing for Patrioti of Slovakia for the 2013-14 season. He appeared in 30 games with the club aveaging 12.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.

Obade was a two-way force for the Marauders becoming the first player to lead the PSAC in rebounding in back-to-back seasons since 2005. Rebounding average of 11.1 senior year was the most in a season by a Marauder since 1970. Also set single-season school record for blocks in a season with 75.

As a senior in 2012-13, Obade was Millersville's first PSAC Eastern Division Defensive Player of the Year. The Charleroi product was also the first Marauder named All-PSAC East First Team since 2007-08.
