The Millersville University Cheerleaders perform at Millersville Football games, Men’s & Women’s Basketball games and various other appearances and fundraisers throughout the year. The following is information for the 2015-16 Millersville University Cheerleading Tryouts. Please review this information thoroughly.
To be eligible for 2015-16 Tryouts, applicants MUST have the follow items turned in by April 10, 2015:
1. Accepted into Millersville University prior to live tryouts.
· Failure to do so will delay or negate your tryout altogether.
· Applicants are encouraged to contact Admissions to help navigate the admissions process (www.millersville.edu/admissions)
2. Tryout Release Form / Waiver of liability, signed by parent or guardian if a minor.
3. Show proof of medical insurance.
· Copy of front and back of insurance card
4. Show proof of physical within the last six months.
· Incoming students may use their MU Entrance Physical. Form available here.
· Current students may have a physical on file at the MU Health Center.
· Personal Doctor or Med Express / Urgent Care physicals are acceptable

6. Coach Evaluation, in a sealed envelope.
Tryouts will be held on April 25, 2015 at Brooks Gymnasium. If you plan to attend, please email Head Cheer Coach, Lindsay Shehan, at lshehan@millersville.edu by April 10, 2015. Be sure to include your name, Millersville student ID #, and contact phone number. Attachments should include the documents listed above, indicated with (*) and current photo. This information will only be accepted via email.
CHEERLEADERS RAISING FUNDS FOR CYSTIC FIBROSIS FOUNDATION THROUGH GREAT STRIDES WALK
For the Millersville University cheerleading team, the difficulties of cystic fibrosis hit close to home. That's why the team is in its fourth year of raising donations and walking as part of Dana's Dream Team in the Great Strides Walk, which benefits the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Foundation.
