Box Score HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — The Millersville women's tennis team was defeated by Thomas More on Wednesday morning by the score of 5–2.

In a dual closer than the score may have suggested, the Marauders battle against the Saints went down to the wire. In doubles play, Millersville's duo of Chloe Abramowitz and Luci Consigliere continued to find success with a 6–4 win over Cassia Adamowsky and Hallie Lathram. However, the tandem of Hui Jen Soo and Lauren Hayes, as well as Sophie Lanius and Victoria Schrader, fell 7–5 in both of their matches. Soo and Hayes to Alexis Covington and Dakota Schroeder, and Lanius and Schraeder to Noelia Martinez Garcia and Nicole Bauer.

After narrowly missing out on the doubles point, a tight singles slate again went the Saints way. Though Hayes defeated Adamowsky 3–6, 6–3, 1–0 and Lanius took down Lathram 5–3, 1–4, 1–0, the Saints took the other four matches en route to the 5–2 victory.

Millersville will look to bounce back against Albany State at 3 p.m. tomorrow as the Marauders continue their spring break play.
