EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — After sweeping Lebanon Valley College yesterday, the Marauders had another dominant showing against East Stroudsburg on Tuesday afternoon, winning 7–0.
The Marauders only played two matches in doubles play, coming out on top in both contests. In the top match,
Chloe Abramowitz and
Sido Rault controlled play in a 6–0 win, and
Sophie Lanius teamed up with
Kaitlyn Then for her first appearance of the spring to win 6–2 in their match. In singles play, Abramowitz took the spot as the top seed and came away with a 6–0, 6–2 win, the same result as Lanius in the third match.. Rault moved up to two, winning by the result of 6–1, 6–0, as did
Luci Consigliere in the fourth spot. In the last match,
Victoria Schrader won in her first match of the spring season, taking the match 6–4, 6–2.
Three games remain in the regular season for the Marauders, as they'll wrap up a stretch of three games in three days against Shippensburg at 3 p.m. tomorrow afternoon in Shippensburg, Pa.
