MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Millersville men's tennis team has won five-straight matches after its win over West Chester on Saturday afternoon, shutting out the Golden Rams 7–0.
The Marauders won all three doubles matches, starting with
Dylan Tull and
Zach Pernia winning the top match 6–3. The Marauders next duos of
Lino Morin and
Sebas Castro, and
Valentin Ebner and
Jasper de Koning each won their matches 6–1 to take the point.
The Marauders rolled over the Golden Rams in singles play, as Tull won 6–2, 6–0, and Pernia was victorious 6–3, 6–2. Morin was tested a little bit in a 6–2, 7–5 win, and Ebner secured his victory 6–3, 6–3.
Breno Maciel slotted into singles play and came away with a 6–0, 6–1 win, and de Koning defeated his opponent 6–4, 6–4.
Millersville has a quick turnaround with the next match at 3 p.m. on Monday, April 22 against Lebanon Valley College at McComsey Tennis Courts.
