Marauders sweep every event in dual win over Lock Haven

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Millersville women's swimming took first place in all 14 events and sailed to a 203.5-58.5 dual win over Lock Haven Friday evening.
It was Millersville's second consecutive win--both against PSAC foes. It was a dominant performance as not only did the Marauders win each event, but they also took first and second in eight.
Jordan Plempel was a part of four first-place finishes, winning the 500-yard freestyle (5:23.28) by more than 10 seconds, the 100-yard individual medley (1:02.38) by nearly four seconds, and she teamed with Leah Eckert, Mackenzie Yosko and Jewels Hepner to win the 200-yard medley (1:54.66) after joining Natalee Shepard, Anna Sassaman and Hepner in the 200-yard freestyle (1:42.83).
Eckert (50-yard breaststroke), Yosko (100-yard butterfly) and Hepner (50-yard backstroke) all contributed individual first-place finishes as well. Claire Weaver picked up wins in the 100-yard backstroke with a PSAC cut time of 1:02.01 and she won the 50-yard butterfly (28.49). Freshman Izabella Wreski scored her first career event wins, taking the 200-yard individual medley (2:19.54) and the 100-yard breaststroke with a PSAC cut time of 1:11.02. Sassaman also won for the first time, posting a 26.02 in the 50-yard freestyle.
