MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Millersville women's soccer earned a hard fought draw at home 0-0 against Shepherd Wednesday night.
The Marauders spent the first half figuring out the Rams play. The Rams dominated in the first half with 10 shots and four corner kicks compared to the Marauders' two shots and one corner kick.
The Marauders jumped on the Rams from the get-go in the second half, playing a higher line on defense, applying more pressure, and creating more shooting opportunities. Aubrey Strohecker led the offense for the Marauders with two shots. Goalkeeper Bella Fiorenza delivered a shutout performance. Fiorenza made five saves on the night keeping the slate clean.
The Marauders are set to head on the road to Bloomsburg to face off with the Huskies on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 5 p.m.
