Marauders voted fifth in NFHCA preseason poll

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Three days before the beginning of the 2023 regular season, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II National Coaches Poll released with the Marauders ranked fifth.
Millersville rounded out the top five behind four other Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) rivals, East Stroudsburg, Shippensburg, West Chester, and Kutztown. The Marauders received 106 points in voting.
The Marauders were ranked seventh in last year's NFHCA Division II preseason poll but ended up finishing at fifth. The Marauders were also slotted at five in the PSAC preseason poll.
Millersville begins its season on a New England road trip, taking on No. 7 Saint Anselm at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 1 in Manchester, New Hampshire.
