LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – With the 2023 season on the horizon, Millersville was voted in fifth place in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) preseason poll.
After falling in overtime in the PSAC championship game to East Stroudsburg last season, the Marauders are slotted behind the defending champions, Shippensburg, Kutztown, and West Chester. The Marauders are returning five players who started at least half their games from their 16–5 campaign, including three members of the All-PSAC Third Team.
On the back end, defender Caroline Griffin and goalkeeper Kerstin Koons are back for their senior and junior seasons respectively. Griffin was named as a member of the All-PSAC Third Team and started all 21 games for the Marauders, while Koons was awarded PSAC Defensive Athlete of the Week twice during the season and finished with a 1.08 goals allowed average and .744 save percentage. Offensively, redshirt seniors forward Bri Harsh and midfielder Codi Bollinger will headline Millersville's offensive attack. Both were named to the All-PSAC Third Team, as Harsh was second on the team in points last year with five goals and eight assists, and Bollinger posted five goals and two assists.
The Marauders start their season on the road at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 1 against Saint Anselm in Manchester, New Hampshire.
