Kreider, Maynard named CSC Academic All-District

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Mike Kreider and Aaron Maynard of the Millersville University men's soccer team have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-District® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes in three NCAA divisions and NAIA. Nominees must be a starter in 66% of the team's games, play in 90% of the team's overall game and be a key performer on the field while also boasting a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. A committee of CSC members will vote to move a select group on to a the Academic All-America® ballot.
Kreider is a senior sports medicine major with a 3.99 GPA. Maynard is a redshirt junior chemistry major with a 3.93 GPA. Kreider started 80 games in his Millersville career and Maynard totaled 62 starts over three seasons, and both served as linchpins in an outstanding defense that paved the way to a PSAC Championships in 2023. Both players were starters on the 2021 championship team as well, and Kreider was a part of three title winners.
In addition to their exemplary work in the classroom, Kreider was previously an All-PSAC East Second Team performer and served as a team captain. Maynard was a two-time PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Year and two-time All-America selection. Maynard was previously a CSC Academic All-District® selection in 2022.
