ERIE, Pa. - With a 6-0 victory over Seton Hill and a Millersville postseason record four goals from Bob Hennessey, the Marauders are moving on to the PSAC Championship match for the eighth time and fourth time in five seasons.

The convincing semifinal win was a defining moment for the Marauders this season. With six goals the Marauders tied their program and PSAC record for most goals in a postseason match. This record was previously set in 2016 semifinal against West Chester, who will be the Marauders' opponent on Championship Sunday.

Hennessey scored each of the Marauders' first four goals and came within one of tying a program record that was established in 1976.

It was an exhilarating first half for the Marauders. From the first blow of the whistle, the Millersville team was energized, focused, and quickly dominated possession. Hennessey took control in just the fourth minute of play and earned himself a penalty kick after being fouled just inside the 18-yard box by a Seton Hill defender. Hennessey buried a low line drive into the left corner of the net, just outside the reach of Seton Hill's goalkeeper, Aiden Hollander.

Just five minutes after their first goal, Roy Parkyn stole the ball in the midfield and found Hennessey making a run up the sideline. With a few touches, Hennessey settled the ball and made a great move to cut past the defender and create an open lane. Rather than making a run into the box, Hennessey saw the opportunity and fired a shot from about 20 yards out. The perfectly placed ball landed inside the far post.

This was not it for Hennessey and the Marauders. With 19 minutes remaining in the first half, Parkyn again found the ball in the midfield and made an attack down the center of the field. Seton Hill quickly pressured leaving Hennessey open up the field. Using the outside of his foot, Parkyn split the defense with a short pass to Hennessey. Around the same area of his previous shot, Hennessey took a touch, found his target, and launched a hard shot into the top right corner of the net. This would give the Marauders a 3-0 lead going onto the second half.

With a lead like this some teams would become complacent and just try to take time off the clock, not the Marauders. They began the second half with the same intensity they did in the first. Who better to start the party than Hennessey. Dribbling past five Seton Hill defenders, Hennessey found himself one-on-one with the goal, firing a shot right into the back of the net. Millersville moved ahead, 4-0.

Nine minutes after, Richy Valverde and Miller wanted in on the action. Miller intercepted a short pass from Hollander and fed a long pass to Valverde inside the box. Valverde fired a shot, deflecting off the back of a Seton Hill defender into the net. Shortly following his assists, Miller scored his first collegiate goal off a tremendous pass sequence from Brendan Corpus and Louis Wright. Millersville would go on to win the game, 6-0.

POSTGAME REACTION FROM STEVE WIDDOWSON
On the offensive attack and performance from Bob Hennessey:
"Our attack was very assured tonight. Obviously Henno was the catalyst and put in a superb performance, but everyone else contributed around him. Our movement and tempo was great and especially pleasing to see as it was an aspect we focused on in training this week. We also worked on our pressing and that was evident in the game and our overall execution was clinical."

On what it is going to take to become PSAC Champions: "Sunday will be a new day and a very different challenge against a really good team. It's a game with two teams that know each other well and will come down to who performs on the day. For now it's about recovery then planning our strategies and hopefully executing at least close to the levels we showed today.:
