LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Millersville women's soccer took care of business on the road with a 1-0 victory over Lock Haven.
The Marauders came out fired up from the jump, dominating the shot count 13 to four and had eight shots on target. The Marauders claimed the 1-0 advantage in the 67th minute of play on one of their seven corner kick opportunities. Palina Jordan's service found the head of Aalivia Wainwright who hammered the ball into the back of the net. From a defensive standpoint, the Bald Eagles managed just four shots, with only one on target.
"We've been working to get forward more and be more offensive," said head coach Matt Procopio. "We want to use our speed and athleticism to get in behind and help us create those opportunities. "
The Marauders look to improve on their winning streak on Saturday Oct. 9, when they travel to Mansfield.
