MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Millersville women's soccer team (0-4-1, 0-3-1 PSAC East) fell to No. 25 Bloomsburg (5-1, 3-1 PSAC East) Saturday afternoon, 2-0. The nationally ranked Huskies controlled the match from start to finish, outshooting the Marauders 16-2 (12-2 on goal), holding a 8-1 edge in corner opportunities and using two first half goals to take the victory.
The first goal came just after the 13' from Nicole Varano, the current Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) goals leader. Varano converted a cross from Paige Harris into the top right corner of the Marauder net.
The second goal came six minutes before halftime as Aubrey Hondros sent a ball in from distance that made its way into the 'Ville net, leading to the Huskies' multi-goal victory.
