No. 13 Mountain Cats power past Marauders

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The 13th-ranked Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cats celebrated Senior Night with a 37-6 win over the visiting Millersville Marauders in PSAC dual action Friday evening.
Pitt-Johnstown improved to 11-1 overall and 4-1 in PSAC action while Millersville dropped to 4-6 overall and 1-4 in PSAC action.
The Marauders lone victory came in the form of a pinfall by Devin Flannery at 133 pounds. The pin was Flannery's third of the season and improved him to 11-4. Pitt-Johnstown's lineup featured four nationally-ranked wrestlers.
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• The dual started with the 184-pound weight class, and two pins in the first four bouts put the Mountain Cats up, 18-0. Flannery followed with a pin early in the second period, at the 3:53 mark. Flannery controlled the action throughout, leading 4-1 after one period. He started the second with a takedown and turned it into six points.
• Millersville had another close call in the 165-pound match as Brandon Connor gave eighth-ranked Dillon Keane quite a battle that came down to Keane's riding time point at the end of the match. It was scoreless through two periods, but Keane had built up his riding time by not allowing Connor to escape from the bottom position in the second period. Keane escaped from the down position to start the third, but Connor scored a takedown for a 2-1 lead. Keane managed a late escape, which ensured him the one-point decision.
