FAIRFAX, Va. - Millersville wrestling competed in its first dual action of the season Saturday at George Mason, earning one-sided victories over Williams College and Queens while falling to the event host, George Mason. 

Millersville started the day with a 30-10 win over Williams, a dual in which seven Marauders scored victories and five scored bonus points. Devin Flannery (133), Craig Cook (149), Brandon Connor (165) and Andrew Vogelbacher (174) all won by tech fall. George Mason swept the day's second dual, 35-0, but Millersville responded with a 37-3 win over Queens. Flannery and Bishop McCoy (285) both scored pin falls while Dom Flatt (125) picked up a major decision. 

Flannery, Cook and Andrew Vogelbacher (174) all posted 2-1 records on the day. Twelve different Marauders earned victories in the tri-meet.

• "We wrestled tough all day. We did what we needed to do against Williams to start the day. It was nice for Lucas Doyle to earn his first college win as he joined the lineup for the first time. Although the GMU match wasn't the result we wanted, we did a lot of good things and battled them throughout each bout. We didn't hang our heads after that. We can back and displayed resilience, coming away with a big win against Queens. I was proud of how we responded there."
