INDIANA, Pa. - Millersville scored two second half goals, including the game-winner from
Pili Zaballa with fewer than four minutes remaining, to complete a 2-1 come-from-behind victory at Indiana (Pa.) Saturday.
Prior to Zaballa's tally,
Bri Harsh scored her fifth of the season with just 2:57 remaining in the third quarter.
Kate Strickland assisted on both of Millersville's goals.
IUP attempted just one shot in the game but made it count. Shelby Harnish deflected in a Cara Betancourt shot 59 seconds into the second quarter. That lead remained until Harsh scored on a penalty corner shot from Strickland.
Millersville took five more shots before the close of the third but took just one in the fourth before Zaballa's winner. In the minutes before Millersville took the lead, the Marauders' defense stood firm against three consecutive IUP penalty corners.
