POST GAME REACTION FROM HEAD COACH STEVE WIDDOWSON
•
On today's performance: "We were much more like ourselves today in regard to our work rate and the speed at which we did our work. We definitely showed a lot more of the fight that will be required if we want to be successful in this conference. Now we just need to stop making games more difficult than they need to be, but that is part of the learning and growth we are going through."
• On the scoring tonight: "Great for both guys. Frank has been giving good energy in his role off the bench and tonight he was rewarded for his efforts with a goal. We decided to throw Mike up for our corners today and thankfully it worked with a great run and headed goal from him. That was pleasing to see and I think gave him a little boost of confidence which is always good."
• On West Chester next week: "We will be taking the time to work on some things we normally don't have time to work on. We will also build up some fitness levels for some guys coming back from injury while also letting guys with a lot of minutes get some recovery in. We will also touch base with every player and chat about their contributions so far as well as for moving forward. Therefore, we will look to achieve a lot of good things and be fully prepared for West Chester."
