MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Millersville snuck away with an overtime win tonight at Lock Haven to even the season series with the Bald Eagles.
Millersville (8-4, 4-3-0) got off to a hot start scoring in the first ten minutes of the match.
Bob Hennessey sent a cross that connected with
Anthony Calamia to give the group a 1-0 lead. However, Lock Haven (6-2-2, 4-1-1) scored two goals in 14 minutes to go into halftime with a 1-0 lead.
The Marauders stayed confident in their offense throughout the second half and were able to tie the match up with 13 minutes remaining. This time around Calamia assisted Hennessey on a breakaway goal that would send the game to overtime.

Spencer Shortt ended the match. The redshirt junior took a pass from
Matteo Adiletta and scored from six yards out to send Millersville home with a win.
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• Calamia started the scoring off early with a goal in the 8th minute of play. Hennessey assisted on the score.
• Conner Swope scored back-to-back goals for the Bald Eagles in the first half of play. The first was assisted by Beckham Sibiski, the second went unassisted.
• Hennessey scored a goal of his own in the 77th minute to send the match to overtime. Calamia assisted on the goal.
• Shortt took a pass from Ville captain Adiletta and scored to send his team home with a win and even the season series with Lock Haven.

On the play tonight: "I thought we played well again tonight. Our set piece defending was the only thing that let us down, but we showed resilience and belief and were finally able to convert our chances into goals."

On the fight of the group: "We have had no luck in front of goal for a while now so for everyone to continue to push with belief was great to see. The guys deserved their reward tonight and hopefully it's the spring board we need for the rest of the season."

Preparing for next week: "First of all, it will be some recovery from tonight's game and travels. We will get in some good training but also take a little break to get away and refresh mentally. On Monday we will then kick on as we prepare for another tough PSAC contest and the final run in."
