
Marauders conclude final day at PSAC Championships

YORK, Pa. – Madisson Cartmill made it to the finals of the 200-yard backstroke on the final day of the PSAC Championships. The Marauders finished the tournament in 12th place.
Cartmill's time of 2:04.60 put her in second-place overall after the preliminaries sending her straight to the championship final of the 200 backstroke. She finished the race in eighth place overall, touching the wall in 2:11.21.
Alexis Shollenberger landed in the B final of the 200 back following a prelim time of 2:11.95. She ended the race in 18th place with a time of 2:17.91.
The squad of Shollenberger, Cartmill, Berry and Simon bested their seeded time in the 400-yard freestyle relay, completing the race in 3:47.15, almost 13 seconds faster.
The Marauders earned a total of 198 points in 38 events for 12th place overall.
