COACH SHELLY BEHRENS QUOTES
• "Today was good. It was a good team win. Asia had two goals. Brynne had one. Getting the shutout is nice, no question. Adelphi is a good team. We were their third game in four days. They beat Kutztown. They beat Lindenwood in double overtime, and they're a good team. We could have been smarter at times, but overall, we're game two and we won."
• "To go in and just go and trust their instincts and trust their teammates and do the things that we do every day in training. That's what we're starting to see. What gets in the way of that fatigue, if a call doesn't go your way? We're going through that growth cycle too of where we want to be. It's September and that's what September teaches us is how to be better during the rest of the way. Giving kids the opportunity in September to get those minutes is very valuable. The kids are handling it very well. They may only get two or three minutes but they're busting their tail and they're making it a great two or three minutes."
• "I thought our defense was quite good today and I mean that in all parts. We defended upfront on line and all the way in the back. I thought our back did a really good job, no question."
