ABOUT THE MARAUDERS

Millersville is 7-2-1 in the last ten season openers.
Only 21 total goals were conceded by the Millersville defense in 2018, the third lowest total in the PSAC.
A total of 14 different players scored at least one goal for the club in 2018.
The Marauders were ranked no. 2 in the Eastern Division in the 2019 PSAC Men's Soccer Preseason Poll.

LAST YEAR'S GAME

The two teams opened 2018 with an overtime thriller. Wilmington survived and won it 3-2 on a goal by Fredrik Bentdal just 30 seconds into OT.
Millersville trailed 1-0 until seniors Jaxson Burns and Chase Flickinger both scored to give the Marauders the lead.
Darian McCauley finished the game with eight saves.

Wilmington is the defending CACC regular season champion (9-1-2 conference record in 2018.) They were voted no. 1 in the 2019 CACC Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches Poll for the fourth consecutive season.
The Wildcats advanced to the second round of the Division II NCAA Tournament in 2018 before losing to Adelphi, who was ranked #9 in the nation.
Of the trio who scored 10+ goals for the Wildcats in 2018, only Fredrik Bentdal (11 goals and 9 assists) returns to the roster this fall.
