MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Millersville University women's tennis team dominated visiting Frostburg State in the team's home opener, winning in straight sets, 7-0. 
The Marauders (4-0) have yet to drop a set this season.
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• The flight two duo of 
Hannah Bryan and Corrine Grohoski opened the scoring without dropping a game, taking the set, 6-0.
• 
Esperanza Contador and 
Julie Wallace (flight one) and 
Kelsey Heckert and 
Victoria Hanus (flight three) followed suit, winning their doubles matches, 6-0. 
• Clean sweeps were a theme on the afternoon. Contador (flight one), Bryan (flight three), Heckert (flight five) and 
Maria Ojeda (flight six) all won their singles matches, 6-0. 
• 
Jasmine Morris, playing in flight four singles, was pushed the hardest. Squaring off against fellow sophomore Ariana Zuzunaga, the Collegeville, Pa. native won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4. 
QUOTABLE
"We stayed focused on the task at hand and continued to stay sharp," head coach 
Matt Helsel said. "We have some big events coming up so I'm happy to see us playing this well so early in the year."
NOTES
• This marks only the ninth time in program history that a Millersville women's team has opened a season with four wins in four tries. It most recently happened in the 2008-09 season. 
• The first time the Millersville women's program opened a season 4-0 was 1966, before doing it again in 1968. Tennis was only a single-season sport at that time. 
• This was the first career matchup between Millersville and Frostburg State.
• This was the first-ever match for the Bobcats on the Division II level. Frostburg State was previously a Division III school for the past 41 years. 
SCHEDULING NOTE
• The match previously scheduled for Monday, Sept. 16 at Goldey-Beacom was postponed. No makeup date has been announced.
